Screaming Eagle FXDF Slip-ons

I am going for a stage one with the Super Tuner Pro (getting this one in case I do more serious tuning in the future), and the AC I have not chosen yet.
I have an opportunity to get a pair of used screaming Eagle Slip-ons for my 2009 Fat Bob relatively cheep in good condition. I really like the way they look. I am fine that they are not much louder than stock. My question to you pro's (I'm new) is how is the performance gain with these mufflers compared to other slip-ons such as Rush mufflers with this setup. Again, not concerned with sound just performance gain.

Had rush slip ons, loud, dealer said they are more popular than SE They push them more than SE her in Jax, Florida, when my bike got wrecked they put cycle shack turn outs on I ,odified the baffles and sold the Rush:s
 
So, if I went with the SE slip-ons and SE Super tuner, what AC would you recomend? I'm not crazy about the look of the stock AC cover. I wanted something that was smaller and round. This way more of the engine is visible. Any recomendations?
 
Personally. I prefer the Khrome Werks 3" HP+ slip-ons on my Dyna and we put the 2 1/2" ers on my son's Sporty.
Some say that the AR baffles that they use are the next best thing to having a 2 into 1 system. Deep rich, rumble with just enough sound wrap to keep it down when you need to....but when you jump on it.....they'll know you're there.

I had the SE slip-ons on my 09 Fat Bob. They are only a little bit louder and very minimal(if any gain) in power. They are street legal just like the stock mufflers. Without an AC mod or fuel programmer, my bike stock would go 112 MPH. With the SE slip ons it would go 114 and with Cycle Shack 2.5" slip ons it would run 118. Cycle Shack makes a nice sounding 2.5 and 3" slip on which is a bit cheaper than the Krome Works are. BTW, I took off the SE slip ons and sold them for $50, Paid over $300 for them. Big waste of money. Older SE mufflers were not street legal like the new ones are.
 
Thanks for the info. At the time you made those runs were pipes all you had on the bike? Or did you also have AC and fuel map too?

I had the Khrome Werks slip-ons and a Rev Tech DFO with Ness Stage 1 Big Sucker and I got my 07 Streetbob over 120 mph on a long straight. (and getting low on the tank with mini apes ain't easy :rofl) Since then, I changed to a SE Super Tuner and I hit 115 in 4th gear on the way to work the other morning and 117 from a 6th gear roll-on on the way home. I hit both of those easily. I had mid controls on the time I went over 120 and after I switched to forwards and installed the SEST.....I didn't feel real secure in the saddle cause when you went over 4000 rpm the motor pulls so hard that you feel like you're gonna slide off the seat and there was nothing to brace against. I recently added a Danny Gray Speed Cradle solo seat and that keeps me locked in real good. Now I can really push it. We also had a cold snap the last few days and the bike likes that cool air. :s:D
