Hi guys do you have to use a torque wrench to put plugs back in when you put new ones in thats what the manual says or can we just use a rachet like the old days???
Blow any debris away with compressed air, remove and replace plugs with anti sieze, proper torque would be ideal, but old ways work good as long as you do not over do it:s
If you have a torque wrench use it, If not, Do it the old fashion way.
Also i would use Silicone Base Heat Sink compound on the spark plug threads.
Not Anti Seize Radio Shack sells it Part #267-1372 [A]
Yep Jack is giving you good advice with the anti-seize. The nice thing about spark plugs for a Harley is the crush gasket. Tighten the plug down and a 1/3 to 1/4 turn

Or, in a pinch, Philips Milk of Magnesia. Per the T.O. it is a MIL spec for the hot section of the J-79 jet engine from the F-4 fighter. 'Course the newer models MIL spec'd the Permatex.... :s
