starter 2003 dyna super glide

Ok rebuilt the solenod. had spinning in the past. the bike started 5 or 6 times. then would spin and engage and start. tonight all I get is spinning.
Should I replace the jackshaft? Is this a sign of an alingnment problem with the starter and jackshaft?

Makes wonder if I buy a new starter and new jackshaft rebuild kit if I will end up with the same results.

Another thought could the clutch drive gear be out of line?

The starter drive is usually what causes the problem you are having.

The starter drive is all that is needed.

would a starter rebuild shop have this for a motorcycle starter?

ok looking at the repair book from Crammer. are talking about the idler gear? Nothing states starter gear?
In the Solenoid housing showing the following:
Idler gear bearing, Bearing rollers and Idler gear. Is this what you are calling the starter gear?

ok let me back up. replace the 10tooth pinion gear and the starter ring gear on the clutch basket. have to find someone who sales repalce part for the starter ring gear that I can drill out the rivots and replace the gear with suppled bolts. any suggestions/
