D Dferr Member Apr 19, 2011 #1 Does anyone know how a chrome starter solenoid cover is installed? I'm not sure if the cover goes over the existing cover or replaces it. No instructions came with it.

G glider Veteran Member Apr 19, 2011 #2 Remove the three hex head screws in the old cover and just substitute the new for the old.

Remove the black cover and install the chrome cover in it's place and then replace the black screws with chrome ones
