street glide mirrors

Is there anyone that knows i you can take apart a street glide mirror to paint?

Service manual only shows how to install/remove assy fm batwing, but I'm sure it's just like any car mirror (pops in/out). You could "carefully" pry out by working a thin tool/blade under a corner & running along the seam. Might be less work to just mask/tape & paint...then take a blade to any bleed-off (if needed)...JMO.

Agreed. Why risk damaging the mirror or any part of that assembly when there's so many awesome masking products available now.
