Just got back from Sturgis. I realize that my factory seat is good for 4/5 hrs. not 10/12 hrs. Would like to keep my HD back rest. I know that Harley seats - sundowner, hammack, and zeppeplin will all work with back rest. Anyone have any comments on these seats or on other seats that are great and will work? Wife has her own HD - passenger comfort not an issue. THXS GG

My butt is good for about 1-2 hrs on my stock SG seat, I use the sundowner seat w/backrest and also an Airhawk R pad.

Keep your seat, spend <1/2 the price & get a Mean City Cycle seat mod. Little over a week fm start/finish...got 1" fwd + 1" lower w/double mem foam for $175. Best seat I ever owned & still looks stock.

2nd with the iceman love my stock custom seat from mean city also have a buddy that likes to spend money when he got his sg didnt like the seat now he has a collection of seats mustang,corbin,he finally listened to me and sent his stock seat to mean city guess what he rides and loves it
