could someone help with problem I am having trying to get info on tach hookup for an 03 road king? I have a 2003 road king firefighters bike and I bought a tach from a 2003 police road king with original harness and plug on it. is my bike wired to accept this police tach? is the female end on my wiring harness hiding in the nacel some place so I can plug and play or is it more complicated than that your help would be appreciated thanks

I just installed a micro tachometer on my 03 King. Inside the headlight nacelle there is a positive live wire (orange/white). The female spade connector is capped with a red plastic. You can't miss it. The ground (black) is there as well. Also tucked up in there and tied to the wiring harness is the pink tach signal wire with a plastic connector on the end.
