Those with the batwing fairing

Have any of you guys installed the tallboy handle bars from HD??

I am looking into these as it looks like they would be more comfortable for me.

If some of you have. Did you need to purchase any extra things, such as cables wires brake lines etc

My Son-in-Law put some ape hangers on his Ultra. His hands are above his fairing. all that stuff you ask about the answer is yes new cables wires ect.

I always thought one of the reasons for the fairing was to protect hands from wind,cold etc. so apes would defeat that purpose.
Looks funny on a bagger with fairing, but to each his own.

The tallboy bars actually do not go over the fairing. They are only 1.5" taller and are 2" farther from the rider.
