Throttle cables

Looking for replacement throttle cables for 1994 fxds. Dealer no help.

Why are they "No help" ? They can look up the part number and order it for you. Speak to the owner, that sounds like a poor or lazy parts guy there.

Try another dealer.

Page 157 of the 94 parts list 56355-92 idle control and 56356-92 throttle control both seem to be good part numbers and available here in the uk but your dealer parts specialist should have been able to find that for you

The dealer has had my bike since July 14. They have tried two sets of cables with no luck.

Perhaps the bike has been modified from stock and the stock cables no longer fit

Is it a stock carb or has someone changed it?? Sometimes with a different carb you have to reroute the throttle cable. Just an idea, but would have thought dealer tech would know this.
