thunderstar wheel fitment?

My father in law has a 98 softail custom with a front thunderstar wheel. He is looking to get the matching rear. But supposedly they dont make it for his bike anymore. Can anyone tell me if the one that would fit a 2000 would be able to get retro fitted on?

Or any ideas where he could find one made for his 98? I have searched ebay and haven't had any luck.
