question about transmissions. I just installed a ultima 6 speed gear set in a 2001 electra glide ultra classic. works beautifully but the neutral light comes on in the neutral position and the 4th gear position, has anyone come accross this before. thanks yall.

IF that's the only problem you have :D GREAT, Probably live with it if me..

The light coming on in 4th? Are you using the same cover/sensor from the Old tranny?

How did that gear set fit into the 5 speed tranny? Modified case?

Not much help from me but someone SMART will be along and Know...

I did a 6 speed RevTech gear set into a 00 FXDS 5 speed box. No Grinding or Fiddle, Fit right in :cry Only problem I had was the Spedo reading 25mph when doing 50mph... little 200$ inline electric box changed that...
