Tri-Bar Light Question

Thinking about upgrading my 09 SG Tri-Bar Light from a run light only to the run/brake light question is it plug and play or will I need to change my wiring:bigsmiley25: ?

The Tri-bar disconnect/plug is under the left side cover on it's own. So yes you will have to splice into the tail light/brake/signal harness. That plug is under the seat.

there are a few manufacturers that make plug and play units to convert from tail to Run/turn/brake. I had a Kury on my last bike. on my 2010 dresser, the light plug is a larger connector right about the middle under the seat. if your scoot has the L.E.D. fender lights....you need a converter to avoid issues with the LED's...dealt with that last year on a Roadglide custom.

find the Dennis Kirk or J&P cycles website...they should have a few options.

I put the HD unit on mine and it was plug & play to a degree but not a difficult install.
