my turn signals only engage when i accelerate or while accelerateing can anyone tell me what can cause this on my 92 eg

Check you battery, probably low, my '92 did the same thing.
I had a similar issue 1 time on my 92 softail bike running ok no turn signals stopped to investigate turn signals ok once moving they stopped working so i stopped once again and investigated and found that one of the battery terminals was loose (terminal held on by a screw) tighten and then all ok
Once home removed battery and got both terminals fully tight no more issues in over a year
