ultra classic faring bracket

Hi,
I found that my left faring bracket is broke

I searched the threads but could not fine out how the bottom is attached. Do I have to remove anything or can I just lossen some bolts. I can see that I can take out the bolts for the radio.
Also, what is the torque for the bolts. I can't find it in the manual.

I have welded mine on the bike, both sides. They do make a repair kit for them that bolts on, you do have to drill holes, but it can be done on the bike as well.

Did you find that there are kits to repair the tops of brackets with out removing????

Thanks for the links. Now that I can see what I have to do, I feel better about doing it myself. I was going to buy another bracket tomorrow when HD opens, but now I can spend the money on something else.

If you happen to have an extended warranty, they,ll fix it for free. Did my 05 ultra last week.
