Ultra Limited with Detach Tour Pak.

Greetings, I recently traded up from a 2011 Dyna Super Glide Custom to a new (left over) 2011 FLHTK (Ultra Limited) and two words.... love it!!

Including two pictures, one is after I installed the detachable tour pak stuff. Still wondering if I am crazy for wanting an Ultra Limited and then take stuff off. Way I see it, it is the best of both worlds. I have a streetglide seat coming to that i plan to use when I have the tour pak off so it shold look better than with the comfy Electra Glide seat... also, don't much like the license plate holder that came with the kit so need to sort that out.. suggestions welcomed.

Nice bike! The Streetglide seat is a better look when the tourpak is off. I have Harley's 6021-07 layback plate bracket on my '07. It's probably a different part # for your '11.

I installed a Mustang solo seat when I removed my tour pak, still looking for a license plate bracket alternative.

That solo seat looks great! does it use the standard seat attachment location?

I'm looking at HD part 60277-07 or 60210-07 which say that they will fit '99-'08 Road King, Road Glide and Electra Glide Standard models with 7-1/4" x 4-1/4" license plate. I think it would mean drilling three mounting holes in the fender although I'm not sure since I can't see the back and how it mounts.

Breeze, how does 60210 mount? thanks..
 
Krutherf; Does your Ultra match your RV? I really, really wanted a white Electra Glide, but couldn't find a used '07 or '08 in my section of the US.
 
I have a 2011 Ultra Limited i changed to a solo bike with a removable tour pack i started with the classic mustard seat and back rest the tour pack also is a back rest.. i moved the license plate to the rear fender moved both antennas to the space between the frame and bags then modified a street glide filler stripe and covered it all up.It is the best of the two worlds.I have done a stage 2 to the motor and run's like it looks.
