Vance and Hines Classic Slash cut slip ons

I have a true dual system on my 07' FLHT with V&H classic slash cut mufflers. Overall I like the sound but I wish they were a little louder. Are there any suggestions on modifying the baffle or some type of replacement baffle that will not ruin the sound (just a little louder and deeper) as well as not require the engine to be re-tuned.

I've heard of people drilling out the baffels a little bit helps with the sound. that in it's self won't require any tuning.

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up taking the baffles out and just removing the fiberglass packing and reinstalling them. It did give them a little more bark and the bike runs fine.
