What is a Dyna wideglide 3

I am curious to know what a Dyna Wide Glide 3 is. I am looking on a site and there are Dyna Wide Glide 2 and 3's. ???

It caught my attention the other day when I had my bike serviced, the shop supervisor complimented my bike and he said he has never seen a Dyna 3 like mine, mainly the paint scheme which is orange and black?? I did not think anything of it till tonight when I noticed a few Dyna 3's on another site. My bike certainly does not look like the bikes in the pictures, but it does have unusual paint job. I am just curious why he called it a Dyna 3 ??
