Whats that sound?

Could it be your valve train, there famous for making noise especially if your running synthetic oil.

More information would help. When does the noise occur? At idle? At cruise? Under load while accelerating? In every gear? etc. Also very difficult to diagnose without actually hearing the noise.
A "marbles" sound indicates detonation to me but hard to say with such limited information.
