What's this?

So I'm out with the wife last night just riding along get to a light and stop. I look down and there is this oily gray goo oozing from between the lower switch housing and the inner fairing just below the air temp guage. I haven't had a chance to check it out but it was kinda oily/greasy. Could this be from the triple tree bearing? Just weird to me.

It does sound like water mixed with steering head moly grease. Is the zerk fitting nearby, up in back?

Grease from the steering head reach up and clean it off. They tend to ooze a little when it starts to get hot out.

Should I invest in a greese gun and fill it up strictly as good maintenance ?
