Thanks to you all for the thoughts .I finally had time to look and found that when the dealership installed a oil cooler the wiring to the voltage regulator became pinched and grounded to the front motor mount .When i got on it hard the rubber mount moved and shorted. thanks for helping me go in the right direction.
