That's why I asked if they were painting the problem area. I agree with you they will not remove everything to do it properly.
I found with the stubborn bugs is you wet a towel and wring it out , then place it over the fairing and shield, the bugs come right off after about 5-10 minutes. It's like re hydrating freeze dried foods. :lolrolling
