SYN3 is a Group III oil. NOT a full synthetic Group IV. Definitely use a FULL synthetic engine oil in the engine, FULL synthetic gear oil in the tranny, and fit-for-purpose wet clutch - chaincase lube in the Primary.

i think that was very wise,getting that motor oil out of your transmission ...syn3 will be fine in your engine but i would put some formula+ in my primary if i was you then when its oil change time i'd go with MOBIL 1 V-TWIN

Personally, I use Mobil-1 V-Twin in the crankase. It's designed for higher heat engines (thus the name). I use Spectro 6 Speed trans Oil (synthetic) 75w140 in the trans and Spectro Chaincase Oil in the primary. BTW you won't believe how much quieter and easier shifting your trans will be!

same here
