I bought a 73 fx on a Jammer rigid. Scored it for $2000. I value it around $5000. I think KBB was around $2800. and its nowhere near stock. Just my $.02

Whether it be a car,house,bike,piece of furniture,jewellery or whatever,the above words speak the truth;and in spades!

The price sounds pretty high for a bike that resembles "My Grandfather's Axe" parable.-It really is a 'Bitsa'(albeit a good looking one.)

Buying from (good) friends is never easy,particularly if you value the relationship;but neither is paying over the odds for an almost 40 year old bike that 'aint what it used to be'.
