I would think at 8,000 miles, JUST back together n it would be ready to Ride...

Unless a Known Problem in the tranny or Missing Parts, 8,000 miles is very FEW to wear out parts.

Just Noticed the AGE of this thread...... Transmission Should have been finished and back into bike by Now...
