One other thing to consider is that if you were to try and build a shovelhead just the ENGINE alone would cost you $6500.00
 
See if you can ride the bike to a good Indy shop and have them give it a once over may be money well spent That bike should fetch 5500 - 6000 IMO:s
 
I talked to a few people, and found a local shop that likes to work on older bikes, I will be bringing the bike there for an evaluation.

Id say its worth it... though i dont have no where near that much in mine..
 
$6500, clean, lots of extras, engine work, and fires up! Well worth it IMO. I like shovels and would jump on it.
 
It would be good to see another Shovel out on the road instead of being stuck in a shed.If you buy it ride it like you stole it.:D
