When did Harley do away with the kick start an go electric start on the bikes? Is it just the touring bikes that have the electric start an the Sportsters an them still have the kick start?
1979, BUT, there are kits (NOT CHEAP) for new sporsters to convert to kick start, problem is with electronic ignitions it takes more revolutions to fire em compared to points systems JMO
