I assume this is only a test to see if the bike will run. It is not a permanent fix.
I have never hot wired a bike like this. But if I was going to try it, I would remove the TSSM. Then at the TSSM connector shunt pin 9 ground. That is safe to do and will enable the bike to crank (if there are no other issues. Start relay bad etc). On pin 10 it may be safer to connect a 100 ohm (2 watt) resistor between the wire and ground. I just don't know for sure what HD is doing with that wire. It's probably safe to ground it directly, but I have never tried it. So use the resistor and proceed at your own risk. If the resistor does not get hot, that is a good sign.
BTW,, pin 12 (black wire) of the TSSM connector is ground. Very convenient to use.
Leave the TSSM out of the circuit during this test.
