2003 whining noise, confused....????

o.k. i got the call from my indy and the runout on the cranck is within specs.
the gears and cams should be in wed and things should get buttoned up.
i'd like to run true duals, but i'm not sure at the moment what i'll be doing. maybe running the old header pipes with a couple of fishtail slip ons . i'll talk with the mechanic about the slip ons. i'll post back when she's up and runnin!!!

Update on Whitey
I got the bike back today!!!!
it's running great.
I also had a set of super trapps installed, and a breather, put on the dyno and the tork is lookin good!!
The gas tube inside the left tank had 3 wear holes in it. That was the noise i was hearing when i'd turn on the key and the run switch. I could here it spraying before i'd start the bike.
The bike is running like a bat out off (EDIT) !!!
I wouldn't say the geared cams are louder, or noisey.. She's runnin' tough. Pulling strong.
I'm doin 60 65 in 3rd gear easy, and 4th and 5th just smooth out the ride.
I was doin' 85 mph in 5th and still had plenty of throttle!!!! so i cracked it a bit more and she goes!!
New plugs, oil change, screamin' eagle pushrods with the taper.. They said i didn't need the TFI or the screamin eagle module.
this bike is one of the good ones. I'm glad i got it straightened out.
i'll post more on her as i put on some more miles.
