I took tank and tins off to paint, after I put back together I have no pulse to injectors plugs fire and will start if I put gas in cylinders. When I put back together from painting I had a 2nd wire from battery ground that went under seat but was not hooked to anything it ender up touching a hot open plug when I set seat in place I noticed smoke coming from under seat and pulled seat and removed ground wire from battery. Could I have fried the ecm if so why would it still have spark.i check injector pulse at Injector with a noid light

I do hear fuel pump come on then shut off after a few seconds

In my experience ECM's don't smoke when fried. Some wire is the cause of the smoke so you need to closely trace your wire harness. Since it's so carefully wrapped, a meter would make it easier, still a PIA to do..

+1 on Pete's suggestion. Smoke is never a good thing, you may want to check for any blown fuses as well.

The smoke came from the wire that was front negative battery post coming in contact with a plug that had power that was not hooked to anything

If your Harley-Davidson motorcycle has no power to the injectors, the most likely culprits are a faulty fuel pump relay, a blown fuse related to the fuel injection system, a problem with the ECM (Engine Control Module), loose or corroded wiring connections.

Ensuring the Injectors Are Receiving Power
Turn the key to the “on” position without starting the engine. ...
Connect a test light to the negative terminal on the battery. ...
Locate the two wires going into each injector. ...
Test each wire for voltage. ...
Repeat the process for each injector.
