2010... Wide Glide vs Fat Bob

I love my WG but I don't think it makes a good touring ride, that's not to say you can't do some pretty long rides but for me its a local bike. I've ridden several hundred miles on it in a day and am pretty worn out by the end of the day.

What would you say wears you out? I am wondering because I have ridden my Street Bob for a couple hundred miles and the thing that bothered me most was tingling hands.

I took my WG on a 1200 mile trip in 2 days. Now this was my first major ride and my butt was hurting at about the 400 mile mark. Other than that I was fine.

My WG doesn't have a fairing yet! So for me the most tireing aspect is hanging on the the grips due to the wind blast at much over 55-60mph. I'm getting ready to install a Ness fairing which will not help much but I didn't buy the WG for long trips. For those I ride my ZX12R.
