What is in a name...why don't they bring back the "HydraGlide" and what not...
Simple answer, HD has to do SOMETHING to get younger riders into our sport...less chrome and more barebones approach worked with the Sportster in '57....making the new bikes "approachable" in todays $$$$s and economy is certainly in the right direction.
Coming out with more basic V-Rod would be another...JMO. Kind of funny that most observed the new 'Glide looked like a metric...hey imitation in reverse is still flattery! The other "H" company was also very successful for the same reasons.

And here I thought I was the only one who just does not see the 10' WG as a WG. I own an 07' WG and have always liked the design. When I was in Iraq and saw the new WG in a picture I had to do a double take. Like most people have said it's not a bad bike but definitely not a WG. Kind of makes me a little mad that HD went this route. Hell right after I saw the new WG I also heard that HD dumped Erik Buell.:bigsmiley15:
