What is in a name...why don't they bring back the "HydraGlide" and what not...
Simple answer, HD has to do SOMETHING to get younger riders into our sport...less chrome and more barebones approach worked with the Sportster in '57....making the new bikes "approachable" in todays $$$$s and economy is certainly in the right direction.
Coming out with more basic V-Rod would be another...JMO. Kind of funny that most observed the new 'Glide looked like a metric...hey imitation in reverse is still flattery! The other "H" company was also very successful for the same reasons.
