2nd Clutch Housing Down for the Count

Hoople, it has not been thrown into the gear and yes it is just spinning again. But like I said, it did crank three time perfectly and then just started spinning again. Should I go so far as to replace the starter?

Here in entry point #6 of the thread you said the pinion was not being thrown into the ring gear.

Now in entry point #19 your saying the pinion IS engaging.

You have me totally confused on what is actually happening.
