It also gives more "flow" to the appearance of the bike. Kinda makes it look like you raked the front end when you didn't.

1.5 might just be the best number for looks and function. Looks good Shoptroll!!

Thanks! Yeah....anytime you do a tank lift it throws off the fuel gage. With the shorter lift I get the look and funtion but I still know that when the gauge is reading dead empty I still have .6 gallons in there.

No, ya just gotta remove the front bolt and loosen the rear one. Lift up on the tank while gently jiggling a littlle more harness out of the frame (not too much, not too hard) then just stick the lift in, throw the bolt through it and tighten everything up.Takes about 10-15 minutes.
