What about the all to common broken rear brake switch? Is the 2011 included in the recall? I suppose this could be a possible cause to your problem (amongst 100 other possibilities)...
My ABS light was caused by a broken wire just above the connector under the fairing on a 2010 ultra. Wire was broken inside the insulation, took me a little while to find.
