Battery problems

I made a chute type thing out of an old plastic coffee can to fit under the filter to divert the oil away from the plug and into the oil catch,it works pretty good but you have to take the filter off slowly to drain it without over flowing

Before you rush out and get a new battery, check this out:

Buy an inexpensive DVOM (Harbor Freight, Northern Tools, Lowes, Home Depot) and do at least the VR bleed back test in the link above. If the VR is letting the battery bleed back through it, a new battery will do the same thing.
