Best sounding exhaust setup for XL883?

You know . . . couldn't I install the V&H Straightshots HS slip-ons and not have to worry about an air cleaner, remap, or fuelpak? Those things sound pretty good and seem way easier. Any thoughts?

i'd advise you to have a listern to a bike fitted with shortshots-man they are just too loud.i put some on my 883R a while back,just 'cos they looked cool,& even with the quiet baffles they gave me a serious head ache after 30 miles or so.

I have the Cycle shack slip-on's on my '08 883C and they sound awesome!! Next will be the SE with K & N AC. Then off to the dealer for the Stage 1 download.

The downloads are still on the lean side, why not go with a TFI that is adjustable. Many posts including a video on the installation in the self help forum.
