Alright, this is what I'm getting done... some day. I talked to a guy named John Hildreth (supposedly famous in these circles) and here's what he recommended: bore out the 88 to a 95, bigger carb, bigger valves, performance cams, new ignition module, and new exhaust. He said after all of that, I'd have 100 hp and 100 ft/lbs. He added that it would walk away from a 103 all day. All for about $4000. Like I said... some day.
