Rode an extra 20 for ya on Saturday. Instead of riding right home after a nice lunch at Lena's Seafood, outside of Silver Springs, took a loop out toward the beachside and then home. The weather was cool in the AM, but very nice by the time I got home.

BTW, Lena's is a great place to eat if your on Hwy 40. The origonal resturaunt is up in Mass.

Ormond Beach is getting chilly and the rest of my winter clothes aren't here yet. If I wanted to live in the cold and snow, I'd move to Minnesota. Florida may be called the 'Sunshine State', it doesn't feel like it come winter. :FLORIDA :newsmile078: :small3d014:

NO NO NO, i just talked to my Daughter it is in the single digits and going to Zero tonight in Minnesota:lolrolling
 
We, the local HOG and others did a Toys for Tots run on Saturday from Ft Whiting to Hooters. What a great turnout, 200+ bikes, filled a 30 foot cracker box with toys. The ride was short, ~ 12 miles, but police escorted all the way, lots of folks along the way waving, etc.
O yea, we did wear leathers at the start, but as usual it warmed enought to put em up for the ride home.:)
 
I'm trying to get all my work done today and might be able to squeeze in a short ride tomorrow (Friday). It's going to be in the low 70's, before the rain comes in on Saturday.

It was 24% at my house Tuesday morning in north central FL. Yikes!

Same here in Jacksonville, warming up nice now tho:p
 
Got most of my work done on Thursday, then finished it up this morning at 9:30am. I took a 3 hour - 110 mile "lunch break" and rode back up to the Ocala NF and ate at Lena's again as I was craving fried clams (my doc will love me for sure after this fried food stint). What nice riding weather. 60 when I left, but on the way home, t-shirt weather with the sun blazing.

Now back to work for me!

Glad I got out today, I think rain is forecasted Saturday and Sunday looks nicer.

I hear ya Grillfish. I did a ride down to Tampa today. Gorgeous day today. 72deg, not a cloud in the sky. Today was one of those "man, it's good to be alive" feeling days today with the riding. I'm hearing mid 70's next week as well.
 
Needed the leathers yesterday morning and prob will this morning, but by the end of the week, we approach high 70's low 80's! Spring is in the air!!
