Casual question

I don't think so, the bolt head is on the outside (where all this is) and bolt shank is not threaded all the way to the head. The threads go up into the riser or in my case TBars.

Plus I would think that might interfere with proper torquing of the bolt.

I was thinking more of; torque the riser nut with the groud ring off, then put it on with a jam nut.

My FXD must be different than the FL's, it doesn't have a nut, it's just a bolt that screws up into the threaded riser. Thanks for the possible help though. It's on now with plenty of slack now since I added some wire to it. :thanks
