I think it doesn't have to be Cold Thick to do what it did.
The Lube IS thicker when even warm, HOT It may not draw on the gears.
ALSO the clutch was probably tight together and only Loosen After it is started...
IF It happened every time, we could find out exactly, but it doesn't.
I have NO Doubt that my thinking is correct here... NOTHING else could be the problem as all works fine when 99.9999999% of the time.
I really believe ANY fairly good Thick tranny fluid will TUG on the turning gears and Any of our clutches will be tight together to help out on the feeling and the slight motion ahead.
MY bike HAS done the same thing. Now I am talking about SLIGHT not moving more than an inch at most and probably not that.

Strange one here. Do you notice this when the bike is cold or better yet when its cold out? Maybe your tranny fluid is too heavy and the fluid is actually causing a drag in the gearing and giving you just slightest bump forward? Just a thought
