Derby Cover

If you use the old bolts over , a bit of anti sieze under the captive washers will help make removal easier next time:s
 
I just put a W.G. skull cover on. When I bought the 100th ann. ed. FXDX it had the skull cover on it and it came with the original 100th cover too but it had some gouges in it. I was told it was from a minor drop as the original owner was trying to navigate into his house with his girlfriend on board (I think I've yet to hear the whole truth!). Anyway, I thought it would be cool to get a replacement 100th cover and looked on Ebay. WOW! the first one I saw was in Austalia and the seller only wants $677 for it! I was flabbergasted! The cheapest one I found was $250. So the skull it is! BTW, if anyone wants to trade a 100th anniversary cover for a W.G. Skull cover I'll pay for the shipping... :D
 
Oh yeah and be sure to do it while the engine is not running. STOP, Im just kidding. Let us know how it works out for you.
