Joy, can certainly relate to that. One of the things I really like about HD motorcycles is the real metal including the fenders. Good to hear that was sorted out, metal is good, specially on the rear...it being metal is what the seat perches on, which may be upholstered on a plastic or metal pan depending on year and make of seat on your bike.

I apologise to all and the moco.upon furter investigation the fenders are in fact metal.i will tie myself to the whipping post now.once and again i apologise.i will disengage clutch b4 engaging typing digits!

If you are unsure a small magnet will tell you as so far to my best knowledge they dont stick to plastic or fibreglass :s
