DOT approved half helmet

I wear a full face helmet most of the time and have for most of my riding life i always look for comfort fit and airflow and do not care what it looks like on my head as most people cant really make out what it looks like when i am doing 60mph and when i stop it comes off

I guess that is a subjective thing. I personally like the look of the half helmet. Try this; just don't look in the mirror :lolrolling

I wear a full face Shoei and I'm looking at the HD half helmets but like the fit of the Shoei half helmets over the others that I have tried on.

Just purchased a Voss Mt Carbon Bullet Crusier W3Len. This helmet meets DOT standards and is the lowest head fitting helmet I've ever found. Just returned from a three day ride in temperatures between 85-95 degrees and it was cool, light, comfortable and the short retractable (on the fly) smoked shield is a very nice option when riding into the sun, highly recommended, cost $160.
