(Dry Boots) Soft Lowers vs Boot Gators

I bought a pair of boot covers because I thought they would be nice to have. To be honest I really don't like them at all. I don't like the way they feel on my boots and they are a pain to put on. I ride in a pair of high quality goretex lined boots and have found that the boots do the job just fine without the covers. I just pull my rain pants over the boots and I haven't had wet feet yet. It might be in your best interest to just get some good goretex boots like I did.

I use NEOS over boots. I wear a size 14 boot and the boots slide right into an XL NEOS boot. I have tried Totes and nylon boot pull overs, but there is nothing like the NEOS for staying dry.

North Eastern Over Shoe (NEOS) are a rain proof slip on over boot. Very waterproof.

The only thing I have found that will keep my boots dry are Rain Gators.

They come to mid thigh and keep the water from your pants leg from dripping into your boots. They look kinda dorky but work well, just don't let your friends see you wear them!
