Dyna Transmission

One more question since I haven't received the manual yet....Do I check the fluid "hot" or "cold"?

Hot is always more accurate.

My 2ooo FXDS (dyna) checked it UPRIGHT Level with the amount on the marked on the dip stick FULLY inserted.. These are Rubber Held dip stick PLUG covers, No Threads on this model. Twist and PULL Out and twist and PUSH in. and not like the newer Threaded ones.

IF you have the correct level WITH no leaks in the tranny ,You should only have to check it OCCASIONALLY .. I never HAD to add Any Oil to My 2ooo tranny over the years I owned that bike.
