Thanks, I read through most of it, just trying to decide I guess due to the mileage on the motor-guess it doesn't matter to much.

I use Redline. ShockProof in the trans, Primary oil in primary and 20 50 in engine. Its a little more money though.

I went with Redline 20w50 and HD primary/Trans fluid.
The PO had 25w60 ? in the bike and I might switch back to that. Sounds a little more noisy w/the 50.

I like 20/60 especially in the sportster.
You are in FL like me, think it's a good idea.

I changed from 20/50 to HD60W. Bike likes it. Next I will go with the Spector 25w60 and just stick with that.

I have been using Spectro Heavy Duty 25W60 for the past 20K miles, no issues at all.

Bike runs quieter.

Mobil 1 15w 50 car oil. Volkswagen and corvairs never had special oil for air cooled motors. Besides my power vision says I'm not running hot at all.
