evo backfiring/missing

Hey guys, thanks for all the advice. It looks like it was a bad battery. It still puts out 12.5 volts, but the case is damaged and leaking. I think the vibration while running must be causing a short or a loss of voltage inside the battery. A new battery seems to have solved the problem.

Bing! Problem seems solved. Rode that thing all over today with no hickups. Thanks again guys, wish I would have noticed this sooner before days and days of checking and double checking the carb and intake and wiring harness and petcock, etc.....

Did you check the floats ? to make sure the carb is getting the right amount of fuel.
