Cavendish is the process used to cure the tobacco usually Virginia's and Burley's the latter making it a very cool smoke, I have bought so much tobacco I still haven't tried them all, one of my favorite Cavendish (Aromatic flavoured tobaccos) is Borkum Riff "Cavendish Cherry" smells so good I don't know whether to smoke it or eat it...Hi Crambo! You are right on target with your corn-cob pipe choice. I have about a dozen or so between here on my desk, our parlor, my car, to our garage where I sit in my wicker chair (on warm evenings) and enjoy a fine smoke plus a glass of cold white wine. (see pic!) Oh yeah!! I rather prefer the canvandish (sp?) "stronger" smelling tobacco, how about you?
