You could always test it out on a mostly non-visible section of the bike - like under the seat on the rear fender.

Very cool. I've used both Mothers and Maquires on my black '06 Superglide and haven't been extremely impressed with the results.

the only place i found the "KIT" was an auto store but you can find just the spray detailer at walmart.

I have this kit and use it on my vivid black Streetbob as well as my black Jeep Wrangler. It will work on any black but denim. Nice kit but takes forever to do a Jeep. I will stick to using it on my tins.
