Forward Controls - 07 FXDC

I'm 6'1 and put forward controls on my 08 FXDC and love them, makes all the difference in the world.

Did you change out the bars too? I'm thinking that the bars are going to be a little "flat" and with my legs stretched forward for the forward controls, I'll be folded up like a pocket knife. I was thinking maybe some wide-glide bars and risers. I had them, along with 4" risers, on my 81 FXE and liked them.

Thanks for the comments. The Harley forwards were the only ones I looked at.

The tin change started out as just wanting to get the tank painted to get rid of the decals. Turned out it was going to cost a lot more than I planned on, so I decided to do the tins.

I havent but I am looking to go with something like the street slammer, I want the cables and wires run up threw the bars to give it that cleaner look.

I installed the same HD kit on my '01 Dyna Lowrider. Not a bad choice considering the prices of the aftermarket controls. Just some advice from experience on long rides......GET THE HEEL RESTS! After I put them on I will never be without them.
